Lakitu's parents, originally from the mostly Elyar inhabited city of Al de Baran, chose to immigrate to Morroc when they were married. Thus, Lakitu was born and raised in the desert city, where he was the only Elyar child in his neighbourhood. At the age of 16, he joined the assassins' guild, led by Barcardi. The events leading up to his assassin test (that being his first assassination), caused him to perform outstandingly. However, looking back on the slaughter he'd caused, and fearing having to do it again, he left the assassins' guild, instead leaving for Payon to begin a new life as a zen-apprentice. Rather than re-training for a different class, he kept the identity of an assassin to remind him of his past. Most would now refer to him as a zen-master, but as he is not yet Enlightened, he knows he is still merely a zen-learner. Seems to have had close personal ties
to both the villain and the assassins' guild leader in the past.

Marilynn lived a peaceful life with her parents and her older brother, Julian. Her father was one of the greatest monks to live in the Saint Capitolina Abbey, and her mother was very wise in the ways of Zen. Marilynn's brother currently serves in the Prontera Army as a Crusader. At the age of 6, Marilynn became an Acolyte to 'make people hurt less'. She was top of her class, as her mother's teachings lead her to easily believe in the faith. At age 14, she decided to follow in her father's footsteps, and become a great Monk to protect those she cared about. At age 17, she was deemed worthy of the Monk class, but before she could celebrate, she heard news of her brother, and began her journey. As well as being a Monk, she is a zen-apprentice, attempting to follow in both of her parents' footsteps. Sometimes this leads her to have to make very dificult choices. Her brother was last seen in Glast
Heim, and has not been heard from recently.

Rayu grew up quietly in Payon with his parents. They were both hunters and Rayu had no siblings to take care of nor a special somone to think about, so when he was fifteen he decided to leave on his own to become a bard because of his fondness for music. He did not return to Payon after becoming a bard. Instead he decided to travel the world and found he did not like staying in one place for too long. He made a decent living, too. Enough to get a warm bed and a hot meal when he needed it, at least. Which is good because he happens to be a terrible cook. In fact, he's terrible at most anything that doesn't involve music. He's just a bard. Rayu plans to eventually make his way to every city... alone. He's not fond of people-- especially children. [Everything in this profile is a lie.
